Linen Cabinet Remodel

Well, I am scouring the net to see if I can find something…

Well, I finally finished it:

I used the CNC on the upper cabinet doors to create the arch at the tops of the doors and to carve the decoration in the middle. The CNC could be used to make the step stool (which can open either way), but I actually used a Step 180 by Hideaway Solutions. They designed it and have iterated the design several times improve it, so I would rather benefit from their learnings.

The step was not really designed to work on carpet, so it is not the smoothest operation. It rolls out on two wheels that you need to kind of lift over the carpet tack strip. It is still a lot easier than going to find a step stool.

Fantastic! So glad to see the final beautiful result.

Looks great! FYI, you can ‘fix’ that take strip by cutting a section out with a chisel or something to remove a little section. The carpet won’t care a small section is gone.

Really looks good.
