Latest cutting board with Epoxy Inlay for my wife’s brother and his wife. Used Odie’s Oil to finish. Liked how this turned out, Odie’s Oil did a nice job.

A friend does cutting boards, he treats with mineral oil first then he does a final treatment of mineral oil and bees wax. more durable and long lasting than mineral oil alone.

I too like one color with a stark contrast, the black really punches through crisply and cleanly. Nicely done!

My normal method for cutting boards is Mineral Oil soak. Then finish with Howards Butcher Block conditioner - which is a mixture of mineral oil and beeswax - similar to your friend.
