CutList Optimizer is an application targeted for panel cutting optimization. It generates optimized cutting patterns based on the available stock sheets by nesting the required parts. It even accounts for kerf.

somewhere in the history I posted about one or two tools doing the same thing. Not something I’ve used much but a year or two back I needed and used one for a laser cutting project. Liked getting the computer to do the work… 
This is a good find Travis. I spend a lot of time figuring this out on projects. Just imagine the number of parts that I had to cut on the bookcart!
