How to recommend a new community project?

Good afternoon all,

I’m a new member to SDFWA and just now started my acct here.

My wife sent me an article about a guy that built 35 desks for local kids who were learning from home and needed a place to study: https://www.scarymommy.com/woodworker-constructs-35-desks-local-kids-virtual-learning/ . Is this something the SDFWA would be interested in doing in a small scale or would it be opening pandora’s box due to the number of kids at home these days?
