Tomorrow Paul starts showing us how to use traditional hand tools.
On Saturday he’ll begin the construction of the beautiful stool below. During this week he prepared the wood for the seat and tomorrow will demonstrate shaping the seat using a wooden bodied low angle spokeshave, a travisher, card scrapers . The legs and stretchers will be made from Red Oak for strength and he will probably add a rear stretcher for good measure.
