We are going to have a guest speaker to go along with our normal information and sharing.

This month our guest speaker is Steve Walters, the President and Chairman of American Photonics (APC). He’s going to give us some background on his company and some of the products he has that may help our lasers. https://american-photonics.myshopify.com/ APC manufactures optics for lasers. And he has CO2 beam combiners too! I ended up purchased used off ebay because what I’d found new were over $80. My beam combiner holder for the K40 was made for the beam combiner holder which was part of the machine which was shipped with my beam combiner. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2915288

I just watched 2 of his videos( beam splitter and beam alignment ) and I believe he’s a great guest for the SIG!
