My wife wanted to have a handle on a wooden structure and I wanted to do something different. I hadn’t done anything with leather in a while so I thought I’d give that a shot. The result can be seen below from paper prototype to finished product.

so cool! Was wondering if the leather lacing would strengthen the design if it extended one or two holes into the Vee shaped mounting section. Seems like a stress point where the leather is thinnest right there.
