Hi all, Monday March 8 will be the day for the next session of the Design SIG. This time, Julia and I will each present a desk design that we created for the Desk project for the Diamond school district and show how it was done in SketchUp and in Fusion 360.
Despite the attempt to drum up some drama, we are not really dueling but are actually collaborating on design direction, elements, and improvements. The process is a good illustration of the benefits of getting input from a team, and can demonstrate some of the different strengths and approaches of the two systems and from two designers.
Per our usual SIG meetings, Show and Tell from the group are welcomed, and the general discussion is part of the fun. See you Monday March 8 at 7pm!
