Very cool video. Got me thinking about what I can do to see how poorly I am cutting wood.

Early in the video he mentions using audio frequency analysis. I think a simple approximation of this can be done with a smartphone app. I know that the sound of cutting is an indication of whether speeds and feeds are correct - would be curious to know what frequencies indicate good/bad settings.

High speed video is really cool - the fastest I can access on my wife’s Sony RX100 is 960 fps, need something 20x faster.
