I talked with David Collins about what we could do with our lasers to get good results laser etching pictures on wood. His recommendation was to use a dithering algorithm with 0.03 mm line spacing on light colored wood. We need to test this on Shop lasers with a variety of pictures, fine tune to improve and make a determination.
Can I get volunteers to test this on some woods at the shop?
