Alan started off this discussion with the goal of sharing our laser-buying experience with members of the ETA (Electronics & Technical Arts) group within the BARN, a fabulous makerspace on Bainbridge Island outside of Seattle. We shared our SDFWA laser story, learned about their ambitions and tried to impart learnings that might help them as they plan their investment in a giant 130 watt laser!
