I attended the Bay Area Maker Faire back in 2012 where I met Edward Ford and Bart Dring who collaborated on an Kickstarter project called Shapeoko. It was exciting and I wrote an article about it. The Shapeoko 1 was my first CNC and it’s come a long way since 2011!
(Note: the front and back rails were a source of frustration constraining workpiece size!)
