For learning techniques and what’s new with Vcarve and Aspire, these events are very worthwhile. I’ve attended both in-person and online Vectric user group meetings and can recommend them. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s free.
OK folks, we’re just hours away from the start of the free online conference.
At 3:00 AM local time the two-day Vectric user group meeting starts.
See the entire schedule here (toggle at the top) … much to learn!
A short video overview of the conference can be see here:
I’ve been looking forward to this. I’m curious about the changes to Makerspace Edition of VCarve Pro as that is what I’ve been using at the shop.
I’m also hoping that they record the various seminars for replay as I’m 99.999% sure that I won’t be awake @ 3am !!
LOL! Yes, 3:00 AM is pretty awful.
In previous years they have kept recordings.
All you’ll miss out on is the Q&A and … sleep deprivation.
Having fun… between Vectric UGM videos, and seeing some cool stuff (haven’t done lithophanes in many years, looks so much easier now) then doing the French School of Marquetry during the day… what a great week. Not looking forward to returning to reality.
I wonder if there will be a makerspace version of Aspire… Getting a chance to do you’re own 2 sided sweeps is a powerful tool.
… back to watching the sessions I missed …
